Aaron's Farewell

Aaron gave his farewell talk at church on June 30th. He talked on the Book of Mormon being the keystone of our religion and keystone to testimony. I think he did a fabulous job and I'm pretty proud of him. He's grown up a lot and matured in the last year and he will be a wonderful missionary in the West Indies! At the end of his talk, he bore his testimony in French. I was so impressed because his accent was spot on and he sounded like he had already learned French. I guess taking French in high school helped! After sacrament meeting we all went back to my parent's for chicken salad sandwiches, side dishes and a lot of dessert. A lot of Aaron's friends and ward members showed up to support him and it was fun visiting with everyone! It's hard to believe that he leaves for the MTC in 2 days!  He will have amazing experiences and grow so much in the gospel, we are so excited for him!
