Hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Love you Mom and Dad! Hope you had a great Christmas. Thank you for everything. Really. I and the people of the Caribbean owe it all to you. :)

Happy Holidays!

Christmas Call

It was so awesome getting to talk to Aaron on Christmas! He looked so happy! He's doing great and loving the mission. I think it makes him sad that he only has 6 months left.

I have a video of him speaking French and for some reason it won't embed in this post. I'll try to figure it out!

Christ is the way!

I'll make it quick..
But it was real nice having her there. I gave her crap for forgetting my birthday. haha They played soccer with us today! Lots of fun! (He's talking about Emily)

Elder Pratt and I shadowed the Sisters this past week. That was a lot of fun. We basically followed them around and saw how the work was going for them and helped them out.

It was at the Maxwell apartment. Which was very nice of them, they made us brownies. (Elder Fraley's birthday is today, so I guess yesterday Emily's friends had the missionaries over and they sang to him!)

Works great! (Missionary work is great and progressing. I have to check the email my mom writes to him to figure out what question he is answering most of the time!) Talk to you Thursday at 2 my time. Love you take care! Thanks for the money!

Story time:

Elder Pratt and I were going about sharing those cards and video with everyone, we were contacting a building that we had always wanted to contact and we took a look behind the building to find another door. A women came out claiming that she knew who we were. Her grandfather actually was a member and would always talk about the Book of Mormon and the church. She told us that he had passed away several years ago and she then went on to tell us more about her beliefs. Before we left, we pulled out a Book of Mormon. She immediately started crying. With tears rolling down her face, she told us that, "That Book is making me very emotional. My grandfather used to read that book to me every night before I would go to bed." She cried some more, then gratefully accepted the book. My heart was touched by this experience. This book meant so much to her, enough to bring her to free-flowing tears. I'm grateful for the opportunity I have to share this book with everyone. We're changing lives and touching hearts!

Big news at Zone Conference!

Yeah we're still in the works of getting that all figured out. (Skype-ing for Christmas) We'll have the schedule by next week. I'll ask if I can skype with the Derrs as well. Can't believe Bella just has her 5th birthday! I can't believe that she's ice skating too! Helene and Mireille will get baptized soon, just not this Saturday. We want them to be 100% ready. They're awesome though! Really cool girls. Helene is 19 and Mireille is 18. They're best friends and want to get baptized together! Hopefully it will be the following week.

Oh that's sweet! Yeah, Elder Pratt and I conducted a fireside at the fort and it was a really edifying experience. We've got an awesome zone. Where else have you been on the island? Haha yeah, we have weird lingo. (Last week he said that Elder Santos had died, meaning, went home. It made us freak out for a second when reading that before realizing what Aaron meant!) I can't believe he's home! Time is almost non-existent in the service of God. Weird how that works. God's time isn't the same as ours. So of course it's going to go by fast.

Zone conference was in Guadeloupe. Most French-side zone conferences are held there (For St.Martin, Guadeloupe, and Martinique). They're the best! Big News!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pres. Mehr announced at the zone conference that the mission will be split!! One will be the Trinidad mission, which will include Trinidad & Tobago, Suriname, English Guyana, and the ABC islands (Aruba, Curacao, and some other island, which originally weren't in our mission. The other will be the Barbados mission, which will include all the other islands, and French Guiana! Effective July 1, 2015. Won't affect me and my group, because we're on the flight home with Pres. Mehr July 1st. Pres. Mehr said the split is the affect of our missionary efforts. Almost 600 baptisms in 2014. Pretty crazy huh?

Well, I'll let you know the schedule for skype. Talk to you later! Love you!!
